In recent years, the main emphasis of the work is turned by a single model of nursing into a professional model of rehabilitation. For the children with developmental delay, we have done some function training of rehabilitation such as musical therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, hydrotherapy, touch-speaking children and Chinese acupuncture. The systematic model of work is developed; evaluation before training----making the goals for a long/short time----making the training plans----training foster parents---- one-to-one training for foster parents----evaluation again----modifying the training goals. Therefore, the children with developmental delay can get effective rehabilitation in systematic, standardized, and professional training environment and promote the early recovery of physiological function.
By effective training of rehabilitation, more than 85% of the children with developmental delay acquire different functional improvement; some of them had been successfully adopted by the family at home and abroad
